Public High Schools (PHS), recipients of the iSchools Project attended the Website Development Training at Isabela State University, Cauayan City, Isabela on August 3-12, 2012.
This training was attended by two batches of participants. The first batch was from August 3-7 after which followed by the second batch will be on August 8-12. The first batch was divided into two groups, to facilitate more effectively all the hands-on activities. Resource persons, laboratory assistants, technical supports, with the supervision of the Project Manager and Training Manager are the responsible persons in making this training successful.
The training includes orientation program, lecture and hands-on, closing program, awarding of certificates, and impact assessments. To start the training, participants were divided into groups to collaborate and were asked to jot down their comments and expectations on the resource persons, co-participants, the training, and the host of the training. Each group will be in-charge on the everyday recap of the training and the icebreaker as well.
This Website Development training is focused on using a Content Management System (CMS) specifically WordPress, as one of the major CMS softwares in creating web applications. The PHS participants will be able to develop their school’s website.
